![]() ![]() The presence of the deep etch pad and the excess electrolyte will increase the life of the stencil. It is necessary for the deep etch pad to be saturated with electrolyte at all times as this will keep the stencil cool and provide a good pathway for the current to reach the part being etched. This allows current to flow freely and easily to ensure good continuity. Deep Etch Pads and MonopadsĪ deep etch pad consists of a fibrous material which, with slight pressure, will push through the image area on the stencil. This pad is typically wrapped around the marker or inserted into a stencil cap. Monode's tractor-fed and die impression stencil paper has been the standard for electrochemical etching for over 60 years. View PDF Spec Sheet Inspection Markers & Caps Stencil Paper Dura-Fab Fine Deep Etch Stencils – Type DFFDEĪ deep etch version of the DFF line which is effective for marking scales, lines and grid patterns as well as any image that requires a blend of detail and toughness. This is the most commonly-employed stencil for deep etch applications, and can be used for general applications as well. Dura-Fab Deep Etch Stencils – Type DFDEĪ deep etch version of the DF line. Ideal for fine lines or detailed art work. Same as the DF stencil but with a finer, closer synthetic fiber base weave. Because of the relatively heavy diameter of the woven fibers of these stencils they are recommended for stencil designs with features that are at least 3/32" deep. The toughest of all electrochemical etching stencils, these are constructed on a synthetic woven fiber base. Custom sizes are available upon request at a premium price. The tough lacquer base of these stencils provides a stencil medium that will last for thousands of marks.Īll varieties below are available in standard sizes of 2½ X 7", 3¼" x 7", 5 X 7" and 8 X 10". Monode's photosensitive stencils are a photographically-processed stencil medium manufactured in-house at our facility. ![]()
